Pickleball 101 Teaching Clinic – Terms and Conditions & Liability Waiver
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. BY REGISTERING FOR OR PARTICIPATING IN THE PICKLEBALL 101 CLINIC OR RELATED CAMPS, YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS:
1. Assumption of Risk
I acknowledge that participation in pickleball activities, including but not limited to drills, instruction, games, and physical exertion, carries inherent risks of injury, including but not limited to falls, collisions, sprains, strains, and other physical injuries. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in the Pickleball 101 Teaching Clinic or any related pickleball camps or sessions.
2. Release of Liability
In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Pickleball 101 Clinic or related activities, I, for myself, my heirs, personal representatives, or assigns, hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless the following parties from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury (including death) that may be sustained by me or to any property belonging to me while participating in any clinic or camp activities:

Andrew Gedman
Beaver County Pickleball Association
Any coaches, volunteers, sponsors, organizers, officials, facility staff, or related entities or individuals involved in the operation of the clinic or camps.
3. Medical Authorization
I certify that I am physically able to participate in pickleball activities and understand the physical demands of the sport. In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize clinic staff to secure appropriate medical care, including transportation, if deemed necessary. I understand I am solely responsible for all costs related to such care.
4. Photography and Media Release
I understand and agree that photographs or video recordings may be taken during the clinic and may be used by the organizers for promotional purposes, including but not limited to websites, social media, newsletters, and flyers. I consent to the use of my image or likeness without compensation.
5. Code of Conduct
I agree to behave respectfully toward instructors, participants, and facility staff and to follow all safety rules and instructions. The organizers reserve the right to remove any participant from the clinic for inappropriate conduct or violation of these terms.
6. Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless all released parties listed above from any loss, liability, damage, or cost they may incur due to my participation in the clinic.
7. Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any legal action or proceeding related to this agreement shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Beaver County, Pennsylvania.
By registering and/or participating in the Pickleball 101 Clinic or camps, I confirm that I have read and fully understand this agreement, and that I am voluntarily waiving certain legal rights. If the participant is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must sign this waiver on their behalf.
