Labor Day Lobfest – Terms & Conditions
(Play at Your Own Risk Policy)
Welcome to the Labor Day Lobfest, presented by Big Pickle Events. By entering this event, participating in any activities, or simply hanging out with lobsters, pickles, or other festival-goers, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Assumption of Risk
This is a Play at Your Own Risk event. By attending, you acknowledge that outdoor events may include, but are not limited to: flying pickleballs, spilled butter, loud music, strong opinions about seafood, and slippery dance floors.
You voluntarily assume all risks, both known and unknown, associated with attending Lobfest.
2. Release of Liability
Big Pickle Events, its organizers, sponsors, staff, and the lobsters (yes, even them) are not liable for any injury, illness, loss, or damage you may experience before, during, or after the event.
This includes (but is not limited to):
Pinched fingers (from lobsters or claw machines).
Butter-related wardrobe incidents.
Unexpected dance battles.
Overconsumption of shellfish or fermented cucumbers.
3. Health & Safety
If you have a shellfish allergy, please proceed with caution—this is literally a Lob-fest.
Drink responsibly, hydrate often, and keep your claws to yourself.
Medical assistance will be available, but participation is at your own risk.
4. Conduct
Be kind, have fun, and respect fellow Lobfest-goers.
Big Pickle Events reserves the right to remove anyone causing trouble, fighting lobsters outside official competitions, or otherwise ruining the vibe.
5. Photography & Media
By attending, you grant Big Pickle Events permission to photograph and record you for marketing, promotional, and comedic purposes.
If you don’t want to appear in photos, wear a disguise (lobster costume works best).
6. Final Word
By entering Lobfest, you are agreeing that you’re here to have fun at your own risk.
Big Pickle Events is here to throw a great party, not to babysit your butter habits.
